(LL13580) is a body corporate registered in Labuan, Malaysia under the Labuan Companies Act 1990, and a trust company licensed and regulated by the Labuan Financial Services Authority under licence number LT0072. Our registered office is at The Villa, Lot U0965, Jalan Jumidar Buyong, 87000 Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia.
The HMR Konsultan Group comprises HMR Holdings Sdn Bhd, HMR Konsultan (Labuan) Ltd. and HMR Konsultan Sdn Bhd. Each affiliated company within the Group is a separate legal entity.
HMR Konsultan Sdn Bhd (RC/00009931) is a body corporate registered in Brunei Darussalam under the Companies Act (Cap. 39), with its registered office at Britannia House, 41, 4th Floor, Jalan Cator, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8811, Brunei Darussalam.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when you contact us or engage us, and the information we are required to collect as a licensed trust company in order to perform client due diligence — including identity documents for beneficial owners, directors and shareholders.
How we use it
You agree that we may collect, store and use your information in accordance with this Data Protection and Privacy Policy. Where you make an enquiry, HMR Konsultan will only process your data in relation to that specific enquiry.
Where we act for you, we process your information to provide the services engaged, and to meet our own legal and regulatory obligations to the Labuan Financial Services Authority, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia and other authorities — including anti-money-laundering obligations.
Confidentiality
We keep all sensitive information confidential at all times. We only collect, record, hold, use, disclose and store your personal information in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and other applicable data protection or privacy laws and regulations.
The personal data of visitors to our website and of our clients will not be disclosed or sold to any third party without consent, unless we are required to do so by law.
Retention
Data you provide is retained for as long as the purpose for which it was collected continues. It is then destroyed, unless retention is required to comply with regulatory, record-keeping, business or accounting requirements, or to protect our own interests. As a general rule the maximum retention period for data and information kept by us is seven years.
